She grew up in the Boston area and graduated from Fitchburg State University. At FSU she received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. After graduation Marguerite took a teaching position with the Woburn public school system. During her years in Woburn she taught students with a wide range of abilities. Her last 3 years in Woburn were spent developing/teaching in a program which integrated students with severe special needs and their typical peers. As of February 2018, she obtained her Lead Teacher certification.
Marguerite and her husband John moved to Stow 13 years ago. They have four children Jack, Gavin, Eddie and Alannah. Jack graduated from Nicholas College and Gavin is in college. Eddie is a senior at NRHS, and Alannah is a sophomore at NRHS. When her children were younger Marguerite enjoyed volunteering at their schools and running around to all of their various sporting events and activities.
When her youngest entered first grade, Marguerite went back to teaching and started working at Steppingstones School in Stow. She is currently enjoying her job as a part time nanny for a family in Stow and teaching part time in the Zebrot classroom.
