
Wendy Enzmann, teacher in the Kofim (preschool) class, joined the ELC team as a floating teacher in 2018. Previously, Wendy worked as a Kindergarten teacher at Steppingstones Preschool in Stow for 11 years and earned her teaching certificate from Middlesex Community College.
Wendy graduated magna cum laude from Salem State University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 1993. Shortly after Wendy and her husband, Alexander, decided to start their family. They now have 3 grown children- Robb (age 26) who is recently married and works as a Data Analyst in Dallas, Texas; Duncan (age 22), who is pursuing his Master’s Degree at the University of Vermont and is currently working at Blue Cross & Blue Shield in their Cyber Security Department; and Johanna (age 21), a senior at James Madison University in Virginia pursuing her degree in Engineering.
After moving to Stow in 1997, Wendy become involved with the Stow Area Parents Network and Infancy to Independence- a parent run cooperative early learning program for infants through age 5. Additionally she was a troop leader for the Girl Scouts. During her children’s school years she also served as Team Manager/ Coach for several teams in the Destination Imagination (DI) Program. DI is a team focused- project based creative problem solving program that blends STEM education with the arts and social entrepreneurship. Her teams have achieved several awards, won both regional and state tournaments and have represented Massachusetts at the Global Finals (World Championships) multiple times.
Wendy also spends much of her time traveling the world as an official for US Figure Skating. She is an Olympic & World level judge as well as a Team Leader for TEAM USA for Figure Skating. So when she is out of the classroom for her skating responsibilities, Waky will be covering for her in most cases.
