The CBE ELC is currently seeking two teachers, full-time and a part-time, for its toddler and preschool classrooms, starting immediately.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Manage and teach students in a classroom setting
- Foster positive relationships with children and parents
- Maintain the health and safety of all children
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss children’s growth and development
- Collaborate with classroom teachers on implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and enrichment activities

- Be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
- Be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity
- Have a high school diploma/GED (or equivalent) required, more advanced degree encouraged
- Have an ability to build rapport with children.
- Have a willingness to complete coursework or other requirements to become teacher-certified
